Brian's visit to Ty's

Okay, I'm FINALLY getting around to posting about our visit to Meg's place. I uploaded the photos waaaay before, but wanted to wait till I had two hands to type. Maybe next time I shouldn't wait but just work slowly with one hand!
Shebs and Sherry were heading to Meg's place after visiting me and Josh suggested that I go with them to visit Meg. :) I had wanted to visit Meg for some time, and after doing some research on train/bus lines I found that the bus from Tateyama to Tokyo is a one shot deal, and the train ride from Tokyo to Meg's house was farely short so I decided Boobins was ready for his first trip into the big bad city! :) Also, Meg okayed this short notice visit. :) Yay!

His first train ride! (Geez...I look tired!)

I won't add too much of the same things that Meg did on her blog as it's pretty much the same. We were so interested in comparing their sizes. Ty is a real sleeper and Brian is just the opposite. He was laying beside Ty swinging his arms around wildly without a care in the world. I was concerned he'd punch Ty in the face and wake him up. Ha! He's gotten into this boxing business since this last month.
Ty is a real cutie, especially when his eyes are open. He's got the cutest little eyes that sort of slant upward. If he was a cartoon animal he'd be a rabbit. He's so light and soft-like compared to Brian. Ty is gaining weight prett fast though, and the amount that he drinks daily will definitely get him larger than Brian in a few months. So much fun!!

Look that that cute profile! Super cute nose and mouth too. Chubby little cheecks!
Ty's voice is so much lower and raspier than Brian's. It was so interesting to me. The night that I slept there Meg said Ty cried a few times, but the awesome thing was I didn't wake up to HIS cry, yet wake up instantly to Brian stiring. I figured that God made each baby's cry different so that a mother will know and connect with their child in a different and special way.

Meg was sooo sweet and let me use towels, diapers, etc. etc. Whatever I needed. THANK YOU SO MUCH MEG! It saved me from having to carry extra diapers and clothes. Meg's house/apartment is super nice! Not only is the inside nice and clear, (I love houses that aren't cluttered-sadly my room is super cluttered) if you go outside there's lounging areas around the apartment that are decorated beautifully.

The day that we were visiting the midwife came to visit Meg, so Shebs, Sherry, and I left the house to go for a walkabout and see some interesting things. Here's what we found that was interesting! Party cups! STRANGE!

Cork Screw! Pervy! Then photos of us. Meg looks sooo beautiful! And you would have never guessed that she was recently pregnant! Me on the other hand... tiredness is written all over my face even when I'm not tired. Somehow after having a baby my face seems really washed out and pale.

Hirasawa sisters.

Kovach sisters.

And the aunts with their nephews! It still amazes me how Meg and I got pregnant together and had BOYS together!

Not only is Meg beautiful and oh so motherly, she's also fit as ever. She's got this bouncing ball thingy that is awesome. She was trying to show me stretches and other workouts and we just had to stare at her and her fit body. Haha! Now I know why people go to her Yoga classes!
And...of course, now is when I wish I had exercised more when I was pregnant because my belly just won't go down. And I even gained another kilo since having Brian.

Ahh...look at those eyes again! Sooo cute!

We hope to meet each other regularly, and if not, at least once a year to take traditional photos! Maybe all the way up until the boys can't stand it anymore and bug us moms to stop. Ha!
Hope to see you soon!

Oh, and one more thing... Motozo was around the first evening I was there and it was fun watching a father compare his son with another son. Ha! Usually it's the mothers, but Moto is a sweet, caring father who takes a real interest in his son. :)
It was nice meeting you and talking with you for the first time. I can't count your wedding as the first time because I think I just said hi and congratulations. I hope to get to know you better in the future. :) Maybe you can teach my son how to swim. Ha!

  1. haha jan and swimming :D can't teach that to your sun eh? But josh is a regular at the beach right? ...I love love love these photos. Brian and Ty are so different and so cute in their own ways. Brian looks chunky with big eyes, and Ty is definetely a soft little rabbit!! He's getting chunkier, but he still has those features LOL. So nice that you both have baby boys at the same time, you should really get together often!

still cant beleive you had nos ling or stroller and just carried him the whole way! I would die lol.

    love boobins punchy arms too!

  3. lol, rabbit? It is funny to watch dad`s compare their kids. Mom`s do it more as science to see that their kid is in the right era of stepping stones for their age, but dad`s do it more in a macho, proud kind of way :D. They look even cuter together.
