Fever

Two days ago I woke up with a headache and all feverish. I checked my temperature and found I was 37.5....then....in the middle of the day it shot up to 38.5. My first time to be sick while having to care for a baby. Usually people say, "Stay away from the babies and kids!!" Well, not this time.

Having a baby while being sick is definitely different; -mentally that is. You're much more positive! Seeing your baby smile at you just makes you smile back and you forget all about your own pain and aches. :) I'm sure over time things will change. Haha!

Today I'm completely healed. I just have a little sore throat.

I really hope Boobins doesn't get sick.

Kato Girls

Bored... So went out to take some photos of the Kato girls in the pool. I love the second photo! It turned out real good! I still haven't figured out all the little things about my camera, but...I'm learning slowly. :)

Boobin's Great Aunt's Visit

Josh's aunt(Boobin's great aunt), Akemi, came to visit us from Lebanon. She's a real sweet lady and a great conversationalist. I had a few long talks with her about stuff...(none of your business), and it was so nice to converse with someone other than your child or your husband! ha!
Before she left we took some family photos, so I'm posting them now. I think they turned out pretty good. :)

I posted this one of Boobin pulling at my necklace on facebook. At the time I was struggling to pull my necklace away from his crazy little fingers. Later, after seeing this photo, I realized it was all a game to him. Ha!

Our front lawn is so beautiful in the summer and autumn when the grass is green and the leaves start falling. I just ha

Brian's visit to Ty's

Okay, I'm FINALLY getting around to posting about our visit to Meg's place. I uploaded the photos waaaay before, but wanted to wait till I had two hands to type. Maybe next time I shouldn't wait but just work slowly with one hand!
Shebs and Sherry were heading to Meg's place after visiting me and Josh suggested that I go with them to visit Meg. :) I had wanted to visit Meg for some time, and after doing some research on train/bus lines I found that the bus from Tateyama to Tokyo is a one shot deal, and the train ride from Tokyo to Meg's house was farely short so I decided Boobins was ready for his first trip into the big bad city! :) Also, Meg okayed this short notice visit. :) Yay!

His first train ride! (Geez...I look tired!)

I won't add too much of the same things that Meg did on her blog as it's pretty much the same. We were so interested in comparing their sizes. Ty is a real sleeper and Brian is just the opposite. He was laying beside Ty swinging his arms around wildly without a care in the world. I was concerned he'd punch Ty in the face and wake him up. Ha! He's gotten into this boxing business since this last month.
Ty is a real cutie, especially when his eyes are open. He's got the cutest little eyes that sort of slant upward. If he was a cartoon animal he'd be a rabbit. He's so light and soft-like compared to Brian. Ty is gaining weight prett fast though, and the amount that he drinks daily will definitely get him larger than Brian in a few months. So much fun!!

Look that that cute profile! Super cute nose and mouth too. Chubby little cheecks!
Ty's voice is so much lower and raspier than Brian's. It was so interesting to me. The night that I slept there Meg said Ty cried a few times, but the awesome thing was I didn't wake up to HIS cry, yet wake up instantly to Brian stiring. I figured that God made each baby's cry different so that a mother will know and connect with their child in a different and special way.

Meg was sooo sweet and let me use towels, diapers, etc. etc. Whatever I needed. THANK YOU SO MUCH MEG! It saved me from having to carry extra diapers and clothes. Meg's house/apartment is super nice! Not only is the inside nice and clear, (I love houses that aren't cluttered-sadly my room is super cluttered) if you go outside there's lounging areas around the apartment that are decorated beautifully.

The day that we were visiting the midwife came to visit Meg, so Shebs, Sherry, and I left the house to go for a walkabout and see some interesting things. Here's what we found that was interesting! Party cups! STRANGE!

Cork Screw! Pervy! Then photos of us. Meg looks sooo beautiful! And you would have never guessed that she was recently pregnant! Me on the other hand... tiredness is written all over my face even when I'm not tired. Somehow after having a baby my face seems really washed out and pale.

Hirasawa sisters.

Kovach sisters.

And the aunts with their nephews! It still amazes me how Meg and I got pregnant together and had BOYS together!

Not only is Meg beautiful and oh so motherly, she's also fit as ever. She's got this bouncing ball thingy that is awesome. She was trying to show me stretches and other workouts and we just had to stare at her and her fit body. Haha! Now I know why people go to her Yoga classes!
And...of course, now is when I wish I had exercised more when I was pregnant because my belly just won't go down. And I even gained another kilo since having Brian.

Ahh...look at those eyes again! Sooo cute!

We hope to meet each other regularly, and if not, at least once a year to take traditional photos! Maybe all the way up until the boys can't stand it anymore and bug us moms to stop. Ha!
Hope to see you soon!

Oh, and one more thing... Motozo was around the first evening I was there and it was fun watching a father compare his son with another son. Ha! Usually it's the mothers, but Moto is a sweet, caring father who takes a real interest in his son. :)
It was nice meeting you and talking with you for the first time. I can't count your wedding as the first time because I think I just said hi and congratulations. I hope to get to know you better in the future. :) Maybe you can teach my son how to swim. Ha!

The Sherrys' visit.

Sherry and Sheba went to the Summer Sonic Music concert in Makuhari, so they decided to travel a little more further to see me and Brian. Yay!! It was the first time for them to come to Tateyama and see the "School" so it was all "oooh"s and "ahhhh"s!

They have so much energy and youth in them! I watched on as they laughed and giggled and screamed and smiled at everything! Ah... those wonderful youthful years were great! I wonder if, with a little bit of exercise and effort, I can regain my youthful side of me. :) I seem to have gotten old these last years. I bore myself! ha! But watching these two beautiful girls really gave me joy in my heart!

Shebs and Sherry, you are welcome at my house any time!

For dinner we went out to eat at "Ken's" steak restaurant.

Then came home to a game of billiards. Two games took us two hours to finish! haha! That's how bad we are.

Josh showing the girls how smiley and fun Brian is.

Shebs, Praise, & Sherry.

Shebs and Sherry, you are welcome at my house any time! Boobin misses you!

Vacation!

In the last two weeks we had a lot of friends come over. It's been vacation time for Josh and I. Hurrah!!! I haven't been on my computer because I was entertained greatly by friends and family.

First, Sam and Leika came over with their three kids. And Mike and Joanie also came with their two blondy boys.

We went to the beach and the next day had a big barbeque at our house. (Nice for all the men because they can all drink! No one has to drive anywhere.) Josh and Aiki put up a huge tarp to shade us from the sun which was a brilliant idea! The fellowship and food was oooohhhh soooo gooooodd!!!

Here's some photos.
First family photo! Yay! Finally!

Barbeque Day!
Everyone hanging out under the tarp...

Mike and Joanie
Beautiful Joanie!

More kissing! Kina (of Aiki and Mary) and Kayden (of Mike and Joanie). These guys just wouldn't stop because of all the attention and laughs they were getting. It started freaking some people out! haha! Sooo cute! They both say they are "best friends" and Kina says she's going to marry Kayden and "be his wife".

Pretty Mary, with Kina and Kayden.

Brian with grandpa Gideon, who came for a few days all the way from Fukuoka.

A proud father with his sleeping son.It was a morning lunch/dinner thing which was perfect timing because that's the only time when Brian takes his long nap. The rest of the time he's awake and eager to move around and learn new things. Grrr...
Interesting Fact: Joanie had Sean same month that I got pregnant, so Sean is 9 months older than Brian.
After the barbeque was over the boys all went up stairs and found a special train set (given to me by Gabe and Mia) and played together for an hour or so. Nice and relaxing for the parents!
Note: Gabe and Mia, the train set is already getting put to good use. It was put away nicely with all the pieces in good condition just waiting for when Brian gets a bit older. :) Thanks again!
Stay tuned for more updates!!

Aunt Sherry and Shebs visit Brian, and Brian and Ty meet!
