Here's something that Florence, Gene, Isamu, Faith (of Fran), Micah (of Merry), and Iven (of Kari) are involved in to help with the relief project up in tohoku area. It's very inspiring for me to see what they are doing to help the situation in Japan. I would have loved to be on this trip, however...being pregnant...I'm sure it's not the Lord's will for me at this time! ha!
Josh and I, however, let them borrow our little kei-van for this 3rd trip that'll last about 2 weeks. We hope that it's a blessing to them. It's our little gift in helping out with Japan right now, as we can't really go up there ourselves. :)

Happy Birthday Marianne!
For some reason I had time to catch up on my blogging today...and it would be a shame to not write something about Marianne!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVELY LADY!
I hear you're in Thailand enjoying the life! Maybe I should have gone there and met up with you guys instead of going to Hawaii! Who knows...Thailand is cheaper, that's for sure!! Ha!
I wish you the best of the best! Please come and visit me sometime, or maybe I'll make my way over to you once you return-me and my fat belly. I thought of going over to see you when I drove half way up there for a check up, but then I remembered that you weren't even in Japan.
I love you loads and loads, and just want to say that I'm always here to talk and just chill with! Please live the life, but also be safe about it.

Baby Update
Now that Hawaii photos are posted I can bring you up to speed on my pregnancy...for those who are interested. :)
Last Tuesday I went for another check up at the Midwife's place and she gave me a second confirmation that it's going to be a boy. Course, she says she can't be 100% sure, because sometimes what you see may not actually be the "boy sign", but anyway...looking at the ultrasound, I'm certain that it's a boy. :) God answered Josh's prayers! Ha!
The midwife also noticed that the baby has dropped down to "delivery position" which explains the reason why I need to pee all the time even though there's not much to pee. :S (Sorry for the graphic description.) I still have 2 months more to go, so I have to be careful. She says to not carry anything heavy; stand for too long, or sit for too long. I need to lie down a whole lot.
So, I'm trying to be careful...but it's a bit tough to not carry my laundry basket and other things that are just...normal. Josh is out every single day working as he started a new building project, so he's not around to help lift things for me. What's happening now is that the room is becoming a wreck and my laundry basket is getting filled to the brim! ha! Tonight I'm going to ask Josh to help me out with a few things once he gets back, and maybe on my next rest day I'll see if I can buy a supporter for my belly.
Soon I'm going to start getting busy with washing a bunch of baby clothes, setting up the crib, cleaning the whole room, etc. etc. I don't want to be caught unprepared just incase this baby comes early.
If you have any boy name ideas, please share them with me! I'm struggling to find a name that I like.

Hawaii Post 1
Hawaii!! It was interesting. Definitely wasn't culture shocked by any means. It's basically like another little Japan because they try and make everything so appealing to the Japanese. All the signs are in both Japanese and English. People start speaking in Japanese to you till you start speaking in English. Ha!
Food was great! Trees were beautiful! Beaches were breathtaking! Shopping was enjoyable and interesting as I was able to read everything in English! Whoohoo!!

Back Tracking to Fukuoka
Okay, so there's a lot to write about, but I really don't have much time these days, so I'm going to try and keep these next few posts short, and basically just include photos which I know you've been waiting for!
We stayed in Fukuoka for a week. There really wasn't much to do while we were there. I faithfully went for walks daily with Josh which was incredibly nice! We also had a lot of time to fix and clean our/Josh's Kei Van. Just to let you know, that little Kei-van brought us all the way back home!! Two day drive! Amazing little car (with not too much suspension)!
Here are some photos of us compounding/cleaning/painting the car.
Now see this bumper part?? We wanted to repaint it because it was soo scratched up so I took off this blue sticker stuff that didn't look good. Then I sanded the whole bumper part down with some special sand paper. Then I unscrewed the whole thing off to make it ready for Josh to paint. I was a bit leary of having to paint it as it seemed a little hard. My excuse was valid; the smell and stuff in the paint was bad for the baby! :) I should stay away!! Haha!
And, below are a few family photos. We had a nice Tanaka family dinner for Isamu's birthday. On our way up through Osaka we met Josh's grand parents from both sides of the family (his mom's parents and dad's parents). They were all soo sweet and were so happy that Josh was having a baby. :)
