Now that Hawaii photos are posted I can bring you up to speed on my pregnancy...for those who are interested. :)
Last Tuesday I went for another check up at the Midwife's place and she gave me a second confirmation that it's going to be a boy. Course, she says she can't be 100% sure, because sometimes what you see may not actually be the "boy sign", but anyway...looking at the ultrasound, I'm certain that it's a boy. :) God answered Josh's prayers! Ha!
The midwife also noticed that the baby has dropped down to "delivery position" which explains the reason why I need to pee all the time even though there's not much to pee. :S (Sorry for the graphic description.) I still have 2 months more to go, so I have to be careful. She says to not carry anything heavy; stand for too long, or sit for too long. I need to lie down a whole lot.
So, I'm trying to be careful...but it's a bit tough to not carry my laundry basket and other things that are just...normal. Josh is out every single day working as he started a new building project, so he's not around to help lift things for me. What's happening now is that the room is becoming a wreck and my laundry basket is getting filled to the brim! ha! Tonight I'm going to ask Josh to help me out with a few things once he gets back, and maybe on my next rest day I'll see if I can buy a supporter for my belly.
Soon I'm going to start getting busy with washing a bunch of baby clothes, setting up the crib, cleaning the whole room, etc. etc. I don't want to be caught unprepared just incase this baby comes early.
If you have any boy name ideas, please share them with me! I'm struggling to find a name that I like.
I love you guys wish you were around to hang out with. :)
Love you too and miss you tons!
ReplyDeleteI love the names William and Cedric but they don`t sound so good in Japanese.
It`s an old name but my fav Japanese boy name is Ryota 亮太 (aside from Raiden of course).
Ryuu 竜 or anything with Ryu is popular cause dragons are awesome. Satoshi, Takahiro, Tadao.. names with T`s usually have good meanings.
hey so exciting baby is engaging. I remember when that happened I thought I should just live in the bathroom :) I think it's normal for the baby to bob in and out of station from week 28, he just likes to float. It's funny what different docs recommend, when that happened over here they always recommend regular excersise and regular activity...who knows eh. Def don't strain yourself and spend this time to be spoilt because you'll be spoiling others after this :)
ReplyDeleteOh darn! It's a boy!!! I was going to send you this HUGE pack of girls stuff from amelie but now neither you or meg can take it LOLOL, oh well ...
Nah, this midwife said that something of mine down there is really thin...so if I'm not careful then I could have serious difficulties later with my bladder and not being able to hold my "excesses and waste" in. She said, of course, I'll have no problem with this child, but if I decide to have other kids then I'll start to have more and more problems. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteMia, I like some of those names you said. I'll put them in my short list. :) I think Josh and I both want to see the baby first before we decide on the name...but we've got to be prepared with a list of names we definitely wouldn't mind calling our child. :)
I love boy names with T as well! Takeru, Taiki, Taiga, Taka. And R names I'm fond of as well, Rui especially but R is out of the question for me because Rubenstein will be our kid's name sniff sniff!
ReplyDeleteYay, a boy! More for us to talk about Jan ha. You can use the boy thing to your advantage with Josh. Since he got what he waned on that front he has to be extra nice and helpful to you haha. As far as I'm concerned I get full priority on naming the kid what I want now regardless of what hubby wants ha.
I hope your situation gets better. I would die if I had to be better! I hope its what Lil said and the baby is just floating around.
Take care.
YAY Jan I am SOOOOOOOOOO Happy you are having a boy! Are you planning on giving the baby two names? (an English and Japanese one?) I really wanted to name my baby Tyler (am I the only one who thinks this name is cute?) but since I chose the Japanese name Ardit got to choose the English one. I know you guys'll choose a super cute name, and now I can't WAIT for you to have the baby!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely be super careful ... don't want what happened to me to happen to you! I will keep you in my prayers! Ato sukoshi dakara ... gannbatte!!! xoxo
