Hawaii!! It was interesting. Definitely wasn't culture shocked by any means. It's basically like another little Japan because they try and make everything so appealing to the Japanese. All the signs are in both Japanese and English. People start speaking in Japanese to you till you start speaking in English. Ha! Food was great! Trees were beautiful! Beaches were breathtaking! Shopping was enjoyable and interesting as I was able to read everything in English! Whoohoo!! Okay, on to some photos. :)
So beautiful, I want to go too... to stay. We looked into getting US visas and it costs soooo much for the four of them so Gabe says forget it. Right now with work disappearing I (reluctantly) agree.
Aww, well... maybe it's a good thing. Hopefully Japan's situation calms down and they find a solution. I hear that if you eat a lot of egg plant and seaweed that'll protect you from the radiated iodine in the air at the moment. :) I don't think the Japanese know about that though. Lots of people in the states do, so I heard that all that kind of stuff is sold out.
